DAY 1
Arrival in Colombo | Transfer to Kandy
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be driven to Kandy. On the way, stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe theme closely and even see them bathing in the river. Once in Kandy, check in to your hotel and later, set out on a scenic drive around Upper Lake. Enjoy breathtaking views of the city from Kandy View Point and visit the Kandy Lake. In the evening, witness the Kandyan Dance show, featuring a thrilling fire-walking display. Later, get driven back to the hotel.
DAY 2
Kandy Sightseeing Tour
In the morning, you'll be driven for a sightseeing tour of Kandy. Begin with a visit to the vibrant Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, Sri Lanka’s largest garden, boasting over 4,000 plant species, including rare orchids and towering royal palms. Next, visit the iconic Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses a revered relic of Buddha’s tooth. Also, marvel at the white Buddha at Bahirawakanda Vihara Buddha Statue and soak in the amazing views.
DAY 3
Transfer to Bentota | Day at Leisure
Today, check out and board the transfer to Bentota. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel & spend the rest of your day at leisure, where you can relax or explore the city on your own. You can visit the Bentota Beach & soak in the stunning coastal views or indulge in thrilling water activities. Also, you can visit Cinnamon Island & witness its traditional harvesting techniques. You can also witness stunning intricate stone carvings of the historic Galapata Vihara, an ancient Buddhist temple.
DAY 4
Day Trip to Galle and Mirissa
Today, you'll be driven for a day trip to Galle and Mirissa. Upon arrival in Galle, visit various sites such as the Dutch Reformed Church, Galle Dutch Fort—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—and the Galle Fort Lighthouse. Also, explore the Maritime Museum and Meera Mosque before moving to Mirissa. Later, relax on the scenic Mirissa Beach and take a leisurely stroll to the Coconut Tree Hill, a popular spot known for its picturesque scenery. After a fulfilling day, get driven back to the hotel.
DAY 5
Transfer to Colombo | Colombo Sightseeing Tour
Check out and get transferred to Colombo. Once you arrive, check in at your hotel and later, get driven for a sightseeing tour. Visit the Gangaramaya Temple, one of Colombo's most historic and revered Buddhist temples. Then, see the impressive Colombo Lotus Tower, the tallest structure in South Asia, offering breathtaking panoramic views. Continue your tour and explore other sites such as the Pettah Floating Market, Galle Face Green, and more. Later, get driven back to the hotel.
DAY 6
Departure Day
This day, you'll check out from the hotel and get driven to the airport for your flight back home.
